THE NAME
What Does Kykeon Mean?
Kykeon (Ancient Greek: κυκεών) was a mixed drink of grain and water in ancient Greece. Its exact composition cannot be determined. In Homer, it consists of barley groats, grated goat's cheese, and Pramnian wine. When prepared by the sorceress Circe for Odysseus, it also contained honey. Named after this ancient drink, Kykeon KG stands for the connection between Greek tradition and Austrian quality.
